Somewhere along the way I picked up a card advertising BetterHomesBC.ca - I stuck it in a drawer and did not investigate until months later. When I did so I realized that the Provincial Government had set up a Free Energy Coach service. I could certainly use some help. I called 1-844-881-9790 and fortune was smiling on me because Chandra answered.

Chandra took an interest in our project and persuaded her employer, City Green, who administers the Clean BC program, to take us on as their first civic engagement project. We’ll be offering tours when the house is finished and they are ready. We decided to put a book house on the lawn to disseminate information on green building. Chandra and a friend we incredibly generous and built the house for us - using some salvaged material from our reno.
